I was into Ben Franklin a few months ago and she showed me one of those pillow cases, tried to explain it to me but now I will have to try one. Yours are very pretty!

Here's a coaster idea that is easy and fun to do and takes hardly any fabric for those favorites you just must have! Coasters

Cordelia-Your idea to make pillow cases out of Have To Have fabric is great! I love making pillowcases, but never thought about making them for this reason.

Your pillowcases are beautiful. I love your fabric combinations. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Thanks for the coaster link. They're great too for those tiny little frags you don't want to toss out.

Aha! Wish I could tell you! I saw it in the quilt shop in Aberdeen, Maryland and had to have it. But, I didn't have anything I could really do with it and didn't want to invest a fortune making a quilt. So, I decided to make the pillow cases so I'll always have them. The blue that that I used feels like satin. They were in the same fabric line.

I shouldn't have made them blue. I should have sewn that brown fabric on a white pillow case and bought a queen size bed sheet and sewn a cuff on it too. Then it would as close to a matching bed set as you can get.

I'll try to find out whose fabric it is. It's top notch stuff. Feels like satin. I've never seen such luxurious quilting fabric.

Good pattern,Cordelia. Our LQS gave a class on this with what looks like the same pattern. It has French seams, right? I made some and they are great but I need to refresh my memory to do them again.
    Thanks for sharing.
