That's very pretty! Hope you didn't get too chilled during the photo shoot! We're in an absolutely frigid deep freeze with unbearable nw winds -- goes right thru to the bones. Wore 2 pair of long john's to go out for pony chores this p.m. Still could not keep warm.

Wow! Can't imagine enduring the cold temps of MN! It was not bad at all today; 70 yesterday here and 40 today! But the 40 mph winds kept interfering with pic time! I laughed at the few flakes falling on the quilt, but I got it done!! Yes! The sun left for just a few min., the wind stopped blowing, and I got a pic!!

Thanks, everyone, so much for your nice compliments! I'm working on the tut and it'll be uploaded tonight!!......lol.....45 pics and 8 sections so far.....

Thanks everyone so much!! Thanks, kat! Yes, I've included instructions for the border in the tut also. Will show the quilt again as I'm looking forward to the quilting in the white areas to make the scrappy blocks pop out.

This quilt calls for one of those 'no binding' looks to it so as to not distract from its simplicity so I'm thinking along those lines right now. Will take a few more pics today and post the tut for everyone hopefully today sometime! I tried to keep the tut short, but it just seems to be growing longer and longer. lol.

Love your scrappy and the wonderful border with the signature. It's colorful and the white space really sets it off.

Many of mine are scrappy donations, too, and I just sign them on the front with my Club name and the year, more like an artist signs his painting than an official quilt label.
