Very pretty, I really like it. And I think the design is perfect for a bed, something you wouldn't get tired of. I'be been thinking of making a quilt for my bed, but didn't want a "traditional" quilt design. I love it!

Great looking quilt. I have a lot of B&W's that I haven't figured what to do with. Don't you just love it when you cut too much or make too many blocks? I'm working on a quilt that didn't have fabric amounts and had to do my own calculations. Opps! twice as many blocks as I needed. Now I can make a quick quilt when I need one, or just make one for myself.

How did you do the quilting---any specific pattern or FMQ? I really like the quilt, but being a black/white/red lover, would have had to sneak a bit more red in somewhere. But then my friends would have teased me for having to get a touch of red in there. Clever idea your neighbor gave you.

I did side to side FMQ on my Tin Lizzie. I'm not very imaginative with quilting, I just do the very easy side to side loops.

Thanks for the close-up. It is beautifully done. I'm just never sure what to do after I make the quilt top.
