Almost finished 10 minute block quilt
#1
I was adding the binding on this and my machine started making noises and messing up. it's in the shop for at least a week now, of all times.
anyway, this was what i called my 10 minute, 5 minute, 1 minute quilt block quilt done with charms.
the border is a slightly scalloped border.

yes, it looks great from here too (i'm in the next room from it!!)
i used a thin decorator fabric and it tended to make it difficult to move around easily. but it's done, almost anyway.

Hey, I see a possible cat face in your choices!
Look at the upper left corner. See the vertical triangle "ear"? Need two blocks like that, then two blocks like the one below it to shape the chin! Now, where's my sketchpad?
Thanks for sharing, and Merry Christmas!

Doing this pattern in a scrappy look really works for me. I am really liking this quilt. And your quilting is wonderful - the combination (scraps & your quilting) gives this quilt a real soft, snuggable look. It's the best 10,5,1-minute/1-week quilt I've seen.
