    Looking at your quilt just boggles my mind. How in the world did you do that without a pattern? Are you ever talented or what. I envy your ability to create.

    It's really not hard to do it without a pattern when I have EQ7. All I need to know is the size of block it is based on. Make 4" 4-patch blocks (made up of 2 1/2" squares), and 4" HSTs. I drew the pointed triangle and wedge blocks in EQ and printed them, then the flying geese.

    All of the 4-patch (LOTS of them) were done by sewing two jelly roll strips together, cutting them into 2 1/2" sections, then sewing two different sections together.

    It doesn't take a pattern to tell me how to do all of the individual little blocks and EQ7 tells me the yardage needed.

    Beautiful quilt. I would put a border on it. It doesn't have to be fancy, it could be a solid or a print. It would look more finished with a border. Just my opinion
