    Another black and white

One of the ladies in our guild got a bunch of fabric sample books and i was given a black and white one so i made this out of it. Also a close up on one of the squares and how i put them together. Some of the fabric was thick, but all 100 percent cotton, and i was afraid it would fray. Not made for anyone in particular just made it..........love them black and white, this one has no red like the other ones i made

That quilt turned out very nice. The fabric samples that you were given were likely drapery fabrics. I have several "book" of samples and have used the fabrics for purses and in quilts. The fabrics is heavier but if it is cotton it is "fair game".

Thank you for shareing your project. A couple of years ago I was given a couple hundred sample books. My plan is patchwork, but no idea of pattern, it has to be simple. This is helpful. Again Thank you.
