I had to run in here for a fix! keeping pc online, so I won't be cut off again. ppl can call me on cell, but they won't and that's great, cause it doesn't interrupt me in cave!
This chickie is SUPER! I love the colors, and the star stands out so well, and the fabric is perfect for the feathers...it's another winner!!! eww, I can't wait...tongue out so far, gonna have to roll it in

So cute Patti. I started on a big rooster, but had to quit for now - some one coming to view hosue, so had to put everything away!! Makes me so mad to hide all the mess I make when sewing.

Thanks all...I'm at a point now that I am going to have to "really" think (I know..its a very painful activity for me) about which one I'm doing next. I think I'm going to have to make some smaller blocks...will have to figure out how to shrink some of them

tslowery- I usually do hand applique but, these are machine appliqued. I've been doing all my tracing and cutting out at night sitting with DH..so he doesn't feel all neglected. He really likes these..so going to sew them is okey dokey with him

LOL!! That is the cutest block! It just makes me laugh! It's like that chicken is trying to catch a falling star. I love your choice of fabric for the star also. Great Job! And thanks for sharing.
