Valentine's Day ---- conversation hearts, of course! All pastel colors with those silly sayings on them. Don't forget to add some modern ones like "PM me" and "TTYL".

Next you can do Easter -- the bunny sampler -- eggs, bunnies, carrots, lambs, etc. and for the religious folks do one with a cross, a sunrise....

Oh wait! I forgot President's Day!! You can do Lincoln and Washington faces!

OK, I may be going overboard but the idea part is fun.

I have collected a few thimbles. Great choice for a quilt pattern.

Lisa_wanna_b_quilter...I have to give up guessing. At this time in the morning the guessing is getting way off the subject! So what does "PM Me" and "TTYL" mean?

Fox -- PM me = private message me TTYL = talk to you later

I live with teenagers so I know all that fancy talk!

I love your Thimble quilt. It's especially meaningful because I have been collecting thimbles for about 30 years. I have in excess of 500 from all over the world. I may have to make your quilt. You said you drew the pattern. What size are your blocks? They look to be about 12 inches. Is that right?

They are so cute. I am sure thimble people will want them. Sorry, I too thought hats at first! I bring up several posts, then go through them. When I got to yours, I didn't read before looking at the blocks. After reading, I immediately saw the thimbles. Like I have said, I love your appliques.
