Thanks all. I know it's not the greatest and after this one is done I will get some practice fabric on the frame and practice, practice, practice.
I want to get some of my "better" quilts done and I'm not going to touch them myself until I am comfortable with it.

Looks like your getting quite good at the ruler work. You may want to look into DeLoa's curved rulers. I understand they are very good for curved crosshatching. My machine doesn't have the correct foot for ruler work, so I haven't tried them. I need to go buy that foot.

This is my first time trying ruler work. Need to learn how to better judge the distance from the ruler for the foot.
The pattern is from the book Jelly Roll Quilts. I used a Nature's Chorus jelly roll and one of Moda Sugar. Very simple to sew two strips together, nest them with another two strips, then cut into 2 1/2" sections and sew them into the 4-patch blocks. Then it's just strips between them and I used all of the green strips for the sashing blocks.
It is a pretty and simple pattern. I think it only took 3 days to make since there is little cutting to be done.

No, I'm not tying off. When I have to I go across stitch in the ditch at the green squares, which is every other one I think.
I am probably not the best person to ask, I've never done this before and that could be totally wrong to do.
