Hi everybody! I have decided to post some more of my quilting projects for the 'whole wide world' to see!
This is the very first thing I ever made. My Mom taught me how to quilt. This is 58" x 81". I finished it in Oct. 2008. I made this throw totally by pattern.

Yes, I love the Jacob's Ladder. I've done several now and they just go sooooo fast! It is a beginner's pattern too, so I recommend it to everyone starting out quilting. It's a pretty pattern and easy too.

Thank you all for the compliments on my color choices. It was an arguement using them. My Mom and aunt were helping me by approving the colors I chose. I had no idea about choosing colors. They kept telling me that I couldn't use this red since it was a print! I already had the blue print and you only use one!
I couldn't see why and insisted on the red print. I think it turned out beautiful, even if I did break the "One Print" rule.

    Beautiful quilt.
I didn't know there was a one print "rule" I guess I have broken that rule several times.

Rules??? In quilting??? If there are...I'm in big trouble!! I have one quilt that uses 4 different patterned fabrics...and it is just a table topper!! I think your quilt is fabulous and I love all the colors!! Don't listen to anyone...go with your instincts! It's what you like and that's all that matters. If they want something else..they can make one themselves.
