And it only takes 15 min. to do one block!! That includes cutting the fabric, drawing diagonal lines down the back, piecing and squaring up the 5 times that's needed! It came together in 4 days' time!

I intentionally chose oddball colors for this one as I wanted to use some fabrics I had never used before or that don't get used that much.

Next I'll be deciding what borders I want. It's 49x63. Here are some close ups too. Hope you are inspired to make one!!

Very nice old pattern. I like all the different fabrics. So it only takes 15 mins to make a block. I could do that after I spend the five hours to choose the fabrics.

I can see how this quilt could grow with HST alternate blocks. Very nice indeed. Great points too!

Very nice! But I would call this pattern Dragon Tails--that's what the block looks like to me. (But then again, I wonder how many Old Maids really had a dragon attitude )
