Bless your heart for even attempting the diamond shapes. I'd bet the farm that I could NOT do one of those in a day, maybe even a week, or month. lol The squares are what makes this quilt such a "quickie" Please be sure to share the pics of the diamond shape one your working on, I'd love to see it :)

They are beautiful. Unsure how you can accomplish it in one day though.

I guess I should have mentioned as long as I don't have much else going on that day, but once I get this pattern cut out (5" squares) I just zip right through it. However, I do have 3 children and can't sit at the sewing machine and make one everyday (wouldn't that be nice) :)

No children here for me.....but a very demanding boxer puppy. Gosh, what was I thinking!?!?! LOL

Did you use Eleanor Burns directions for this quilt, I also have wanted to make one using her book TATW but am leary of the tube method.
