A big Elvis fan here. I remember the first time he appeared on TV--yes, I am old--and my Mom about died. It is a wonder he wasn't off limits. Now, I look at who kids are watching and realize that he was one of the tame ones. How times have changed. Love the quilt too.

I like your Elvis quilt though I'm not a huge fan myself... I did see him once in Vegas and my mother went on a date with him in 1956! They were both staying at the same hotel in Los Angeles; she for a beauty pageant and he was filming Love Me Tender. The hotel doorman arranged their date! My grandmother chaperoned, of course, to dinner and then they visited in the sitting room of the hotel; my mom played piano and he sang. He wrote her a note with his 'fake name' (so they would put the call through) and the phone number to call him on the set where he was filming but she never had the nerve to call... She cherished the note for years until someone stole her wallet. I'm sure they had no idea what they had and it ended up in the trash

Another Elvis fan here....uh -huh-huh! Our kids hired an Elvis impersonator to perform at our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. He didn't look like Elvis, but the voice and the moves were all Elvis! Oh, and BTW, your quilt is GREAT! I love the colors.
