If you look right behind the chicken bowl, by the red leaf, you can see the nine patch and snow ball more distinctly. The quilt is beautiful.

To me it looks like a square in a square, and a 9 patch set on the diagonal. It looks more complicated than it is because of the way the cream color is used. It would actually be fairly easy to make. I love how it looks. It may be a way to use up a lot of scraps.

It is an easy quilt to put together since the nine patch can be stripe pieced. I used it, larger block of course, to make a couple of baby quilts for gifts.

there are no "Y" intersections in this, just snowball blocks and 9 patches. OH and the tiny leaves appliqued around as well...really cute, but the blocks must be 4"...

Look up Bonnie Hunter "Scrapville" website and see if it is one of her patterns. She has alot of free "scrap" patterns to download.

I just received this in an email from Martingale as a screen saver. I'm guessing they sell the book this pattern would be in. I'm pretty sure I deleted the email after I downloaded the screensaver, but if I find it, I'll send it to you.

Thanks for the drawing! I love the unique design created by the color placement. You ladies were quick to figure this out!
