Anyone know the name of this pattern?

Not off hand. It's a sawtooth star with a pinwheel in the center instead of a plain square. I've seen it on quilterscache.com before, in just 3 colors (background, then 2 for the pinwheel and star points).
Here's the directions from quilterscache using the 3-colors:

You can draft this to any size that makes it easy to do a 16-patch block. (4", 8", 12", 16", etc.)

It looks like center of a Carpenter Star with the rays made with two shades of the same color rather than matching. I did one with eight different batiks, but my rays match. 9" blocks would make a 36" wall hanging by using just the center of the pattern. http://www.quiltfrog.com/fourhour.html

perfect! thank you so much Donna!
I pulled it into my photo editing software and added lines and this will help me plan the fabrics.
The board is so helpful.
