I like that you are 'a pro at making new designs.' Good attitude!

It took me several minutes of searching to find the mistake. Meanwhile, I was saying to myself - Why is she making a rectangular log cabin? It sure limits the layout.

The 'real' blocks are much prettier - LOL!

I just thought you weren't finished. don't you just need to add a top turqoise for them to match.

Been there, done that. You could use them and start a new pattern. Just call them a happy accident after all they don't look that bad.

Did some of the strips wrong and it threw the whole thing off. Notice they are rectangle instead of square. :-)

But these blocks are lovely! You just need to create another project to use them. And then another for the next set of "mistakes," and then another.... :)

I am making a log cabin lap quilt for a lady wedding gift from March and I kept making the same mistake, so I put it away. Yes, I said March. Pulled it out last Thursday to finish it. Just draw a box on a piece of paper and number it starting at the bottom going to the right until you get back to the bottom.
