DANG! I was just about to ask for addresses so those that wanted to hold on to it for me until I got over my "issues" could do so. It seems that I'm getting over them. Here is where it will be for a while, until I make my masterpiece (someday :roll: ). Thank you all for your great support and dealing with my feelings of inadequacy.
Who says I like tan and green? Honestly, this wasn't planned. Ignore the towel and curtain rod on the floor by the plant.

It looks stunning over your sofa! I think we spend so much time viewing our work from only six inches from our noses, that we forget that it will almost never be viewed that way once it is done. We don't run up to a painting and look at it from a foot away, we view it from a distance and enjoy the whole effect, and as quilters we need to do that too! I love your piece!

after all that angst, what do you feel you've learned from this awful, harrowing experience? after all, you broke out of your safety zone and reached for a new style, right? you should be very proud of yourself for taking those FIRST steps and letting yourself grow. :wink:
