I have this problem too.
All I have to do is sit with a quilt & I have one dog on my lap & one on the side...under the it while I'm trying to sew a binding.

Don't want it to go too fast so they can enjoy it longer.
They love being under blankie's!!

Beautiful quilt and the QI is lovely as well. My avatar is my QI and he's not as helpful as he thinks he is but I, too, wouldn't have it any other way.

I accidently stuck Lily Dog with a needle while putting on a binding last week. She was so shocked - I still feel bad.

Love it. Do you have a pattern or did you make it up?

I purcharsed the pattern from www.lucyfazely.com

Glad everyone likes it, can't believe how many do. The pattern isn't real hard, just time consuming.I really like this pattern:)

i have two of cats that think my sewing table top is there territory so got them a basket to sit in while i sew helped for awhile and then they had to start getting closer thought they were gonna get their noses sewed, but now they have discovered how warm it can be while i am trying to do the hand sewing on my quilts sure hope that the person that gets them likes them as much as mr.t and cassanova do

I don't have a cat, but I have a conure (small parrot) who likes to help?? in the sewing room, if he is not attacking me when I am cutting fabric, he loves the orange color on my rotary cutter, then he is sitting on the ironing board right beside the iron, don't know why he doesn't burn himself, or else he is sitting on my sewing table watching me sew and pulls off the little red button that removes my presser foot. I finally had to leave it off and just use my finger on that sharp button to change my feet.
But I love him anyway. When he gets into too much trouble, I just put him in a cage that I keep especially in my sewing room just for him.
