My helper always wants to be in my lap at night while I watch TV. Lately, I've been cutting up shirts at night and have to shoo her away. I'm afraid I'll cut off her tail. She just moves over to my husbands lap instead.

Patches with Eddie

That picture of GladGrams cat is just what mine does! I'm surprised she hasn't sewn her nose as well.

Aren't they the best!
What would we do without them?!? Life would be pretty boring without them.

Puck116, your pussycat looks exactly like my sweet "Anna Marta" that lived to be 17 years old. I grieved when she went to pussycat heaven, or across the rainbow bridge or whatever...

I like to believe we will see our pets in heaven because in the bible it does say that the lion will lay down with the lamb, so I deduce then that the animals must have made it to the other side and are waiting for us. Nice thought, even though it is not that easy to ground theologically.

Patches is 16 now and very active. Our other calico had to be put down at 14 because of cancer a few years ago. They are family.

I have this same problem everytime I leave a quilt unsupervised.
Gotta Love our quilting kitties?

Your quilt is beautiful. I love the way the cross radiates light.
