It's stunning, and I absolutely love your colour choice. I have the books now, and am waiting for my fabric to arrive. I ordered 9 yards! I hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew. My fabric has a black background, lots of sprays of leaves, and two colours of flowers. I hope I have done the right thing ordering it. It isn't easy choosing online, when you only see a small square. Wish me luck. If mine turns out like yours, I will be well pleased.

That is just gorgeous!!! I love how you laid it out! Are you back to loving it now? I usually get to the place where I don't like my quilts just before I finish them too.

Lacelady, show us a pic of your fabric! I want to do one with black too because it just makes it all pop.
Here is a clip of my next fabric. I still have about 3 projects to finish up before I start but this one is finally for me.

Yes that was my voice. My sons and brother in law just informed me this weekend that I talk like a redneck so I wish I could take my voice off of there!

I just used my digital camera and loaded it up on youtube, it's a free site.

You do not talk like a red neck! You sound more to me like a film star! :D Maybe I'll have a go at that myself - I've got a digital video camera, then you can hear how I sound! Maybe we should start a topic - it would be so cool to hear everyone! :D

Where do you get the mirrors? I have a friend who took two 12" square mirrors (like we used to put up on the walls --was that in the 80's?) and duct taped them together. They work okay, but they're pretty big to lug around, and the tape interferes a little bit.

Those are from the quilt shop. But they are too big in my opinion too. I'm thinking of having some cut. I used to have a little folder that you kept business cards in. It would be perfect size to keep in my purse. Jacqui and I have searched ebay, but they are either round, or one side is magnafied.

This is a work of art. I like quilts & pics that I can study to see the patterns in them. It has a nature feel to me. Keep on quilting. What size is it?
