    It was in the May/June issue of quiltmaker magazine, but the concept is simple. You start with a square, mine were 7 inches, cut it diagonally, insert a 1 inch strip of the contrasting fabric. Cut it diagonally in the other direction, insert a 1 inch strip. Cut it again in half, top to bottom, in goes another 1 inch strip. Lastly, cut it in half horizontally and add the last 1 inch strip. Then trim it up to 6.5 inches.

    Now here's another one that is so wonderful & pretty I must make one of them too! I LOVE it. Never saw that pattern before. Thanks for showing us.

    That's a great quilt. I've never heard of that pattern (that makes two today from this board). Love the colors too.

    I'm sure you saw the link that was posted, it has a good tutorial. It's a very easy and forgiving block to make, and so much fun too!
