Me too, my Australian fabrics are in a box still waiting for me. Maybe this will inspire me to get going. I had a hard time finding Australian fabrics when I was in Oz, the shops had all American fabrics. LOL

Congratulations on changing your UFO into a FFO

Love the layout which shows the beauty of those fabrics. Inspires me to look up my african prints I've been saving. Perfect pattern for those too......or maybe even those large florals I collect!! Great insipration for me! thanks! Was this a quilt as you go project? just wondered with the black sashing.

nativetexan-- i know what you mean as to your location, as you can probably tell by my location! once a texan, always a texan!!
now, down to business. where did you find the australian prints? they are wonderful and so is your quilt! tell your sister she is in my thoughts and prayers for a quick and total recovery!
The only bad days are the ones you don't get.

Whew! I mailed this quilt to my Sister who must sit and rest and heal her bones. she broke her left arm and right knee! i mailed it on the 2nd and she finally got it on the 20th!!!!! I thought it was lost forever, but it wasn't.
most of the fabrics were from friends in Australia, i used to swap a lot. i think i may have gotten some from keepsakequilting.com probably too. I had the fabrics quite awhile. i still have some floral ones to use up. didn't take a photo of the back of the quilt but it has a strip of floral blocks down the center.
