This was made by my daughters best friend (18 yrs) for her niece Ava. It was her very first, and she's never sewn before. I myself am a very new quilter and was very nervous about mentoring her, but it came out beautiful!! Now on to quilt it!

Thanks all! The ONLY thing I'd complain about is that she wanted to applique the flowers, got them ironed on, but then decided that iron on was good enough. lol. Applique was more work than she wanted to do. It's fine, it's hers.
Yes, she's going to do at least one more for her not yet born nephew.
She's really pleased now that she sees how exciting the finished project is. She wasn't so fond of it as she was piecing and not able to see the whole picture.
