Thank you, I was just admiring you quilt in your avatar picture today. Now I know who did the pattern.

Oh my gosh. What a wealth of color and pattern. You are so Gooooooooooooooooooooooood. I am learning, learning, and learning and loving it. Some day I will have enough nerve (and knowledge on how to post a picture) to have you all see what I have done. Thank you.

My avatar quilt is my dancing mugs, my own pattern, and made with my own hand dyed fabrics.

Mine was made by my Grandmother and probably her mother in the 30's. It is one of the few quilts they made that are not scrap quilts. Hand quilted and pieced. They turned the blocks differently than some of the pictures I've seen. I do not have a picture of the full quilt. My youngest daughter now has the quilt. The pattern is Missouri Puzzle and was probably in the Kansas City Star or Caper's Weekly since that is where they got most of their patterns. Notice the intricate quilting (by hand). I'm not sure I would have the patience to do that.
