    Awesome Ocean, Elizabeth Hartman

Made for a cousin of mine, she's an awesome art teacher and lives in Florida. I thought this was the perfect quilt for her.

So Cute. I just ordered this kit, (suppose to arrive in a few days) but it comes in a beige background. I am going to change it to grey, like you did , so it will match the two other Elizabeth Hartman's I made (Fancy Forest & that butterfly pattern). I was worried about the grey, but after seeing your beauty, I am no longer afraid. Thanks for the pic. You did a great job! Did you buy and use the kit fabric or did you use fabrics from your stash? Your colors are spectacular!

I like the beautiful color combos you used throughout your quilt! The grey background makes the scene come alive. I like that you chose a softer grey color for your border and a soft blue for your binding. Thanks for sharing a great picture.

I thing your quilt is super gorgeous. I think the pattern is filled with wonderful characters and your color choices and placement just make the quilt very special. I know the recipient will love it-I would!

You are quick. I still haven't finished Fancy Forest and bought the kit almost 2 yrs ago. Yours came out beautiful. What a perfect gift, but would love to be the recipient LOL
