What about a checkerboard border withteh white and one of the other fabrics that you would have enough of? Maybe a narrow solid border in between? I also like the idea of adding to the top and appliquing his name or more lizards. Little boys can't get enough slimy, dirty stuff. :0) My little guy thinks dumping the sand right over his head is a great way to play with it!

Ok, so now all I have left is the quilting. I'm pretty happy with how it looks :)

Wow, that mottled orange, smaller lizards & white really rocks (as the younger crowd would say). I know you'll are so anxious to have Alex here.
