Very nice. You can always hold onto it for a future baby boy and make another for the girl.

I would either save it for a boy or applique pink flowers on it.

Applique a pink elephant on it, it'll be perfect!
A century or so ago, red was for boys as it was a strong 'manly' color. There was no stigma against pink as it was simply a less intense red. Blue was for girls as it was a nice pastel color. So what the heck happened???!

You haven't seen the depth of my UFO pile. If I start on a new baby quilt now, I'll probably finish it sometime around the kid's first birthday.

Besides' I'm scrambling to get a quilt I hoped to deliver to my sister at her wedding ready in time for her first anniversary now.

Is this a variation on a rail fence? I really really like it and as Lynnie commented, it does not look too difficult when you look closely. I'd like to make this!!
