Default Baby Chevron Quilt

I recently finished this baby quilt for my great nephew that was just born. The blocks are two rectangles sewn together to make a square instead of triangles. It certainly threw my brain for a tizzy putting it together though! I think I do better with horizontal and vertical rows rather than diagonal ones..... The back was made with left over fabric from the front.

Such beautiful colors. My brain is easily thrown into a tizzy. It is a neat way to make a chevron without a bias edge.

Great chevron quilt! I love blue and yellow combos and the rectangles are so much easier then bias edge triangles!
