One year for Christmas, (early 1990's) I made eleven muslin rag dolls. I gave them to my friends, for their little girls. You would think I gave them something they could not buy or ever replace. My best friend has her daughter's doll in a small rocking chair in the living room. Never underestimate the power of a dolly to love.

Thanks everyone. You are all so inspiring.

One Christmas, OMG, 30 years ago, I supported our Christmas and really our family. My husband and his family were starting a new business and he was gone all the time, but bringing home no money. I had started a daycare, and that helped, but I spent all my spare time making dolls and stuff like that for a little shop in my town. I didn't get rich but I made enough to pay the bills and have Christmas and even made dolls for all the daycare kids. And I loved it. I like being busy.

I have scoured the pattern and don't see on it anywhere that says I can not sell them. I can't sell the pattern or anything like that, but I think it would be ok to sell a few. Plus, like I said, I have bunches of other soft doll patterns I can use. I also change them up, and add my own spin. Even though this Minkee baby is a new creation, it is quite similar to the ones I used to make.

Oh my, my head is spinning with ideas, I may never sleep. Thanks so much.

They are just adorable. They need cuddling. LOL
Or just appear that way.
Thank you for sharing your babies.
You should try out a few and see how it goes.
Work from your stash.

Do you by chance have any patterns for the old puppy pj pillows? My Grandmother made me one for Christmas many years ago. I wish I still had it. They also had a kitten. Pm me if you need more details. Thanks
