I love your quilt and this fabric line.

We used this fabric for a tumbler quilt Tumbler quilt with farm fabrics
And sewbizgirl posted her Irish Chain quilt on post 22 of the same thread.

It's as sweet as can be. Absolutely love those fabrics together. The animals, the dots, the plaids--all play so happily together. Bet you feel good having made it for someone now who can benefit from it. I'm still waiting for grandchildren of my own, too. But I find joy in making donation quilts for kiddoes who belong to others .

Your quilt is very pretty and so are the other two. It will be loved by a child.

I saved things for potential grandchildren and said it was for my "hope chest". LOL Now I'm fortunate to have 3 lovely granddaughters!

This is a precious quilt for a good cause.

Better used than saved. Growing up, I embroidered many things as gifts for my beloved Grandma. She ooohhhed and aaaahed over every one and then said "This is so pretty that I'll have to put it away and you can have it back when I'm gone."

The hurtful thing is that when my beloved Grandma passed, those items were in a drawer, just as pristine as the day they were gifted--and I got them back. How I would have loved to see them faded, worn and tattered.

You made and donated something to people who have nothing. You shared a piece of yourself with them. We should all do the same. Thank you.

Some child is going to love that quilt to death! I know I would have loved it when I was young.

Cute quilt! Sweet of you to donate your talents to those less fortunate.
