Wow, back in the day before all this modern technology lets you know what you are having before you have him/her, this would be perfect. To be so blessed that you don't need an extra at some point must be very nice. It is beautiful, bright and cherry and would be well loved if given a chance.

Well it is her loss is what I say. It is a beautiful quilt and would be a wonderful gift for either boy or girl to me. Wonderful work! Maybe there is someone else coming that will need it more and this is suppposed to be saved for them.. it will happen!

It's a beautiful quilt, just put it away for now, I am sure you will find a worthy receipant. I do think it is more girlish, but to refuse it, that's rude.

wow, how adorable. you know in some cultures it's good luck for the baby to wear pink or have pink in the blanket. so sorry this was not to her liking. it's lovely.

It is a beautiful quilt. I agree with the others on how rude she is by not excepting it. I would just hang on to it for someone else. If she ever brings up why you haven't made a quilt. I would tell her, Oh yes I did, but you didn't want it & I won't make any more so you could reject them too. Don't let it get you down. You done a fantastic job on it.

How sad that your niece does not recognize the love put into the quilt. Keep it for the next baby shower for someone who will love and appreciate the pretty quilt you made.
