I have a friend that breeds turtles, it's really cool. He has a federal license or something. Never knew it was so involved, very interesting. They are beautiful and unusual.

Nice turtles. Be sure to post pics of the babies.

It reminds me of the time we took our 4-year-old to the zoo. When we came to the tortoise exhibit, everyone was so quiet - until our niece yells out in her southern accent, "why's he riding on the other one's back?"

I can't even imagine what is involved in breeding tortoises! Wine? Dinner? Dancing?

Do they roam around or do they need to be caged? Pretty colored shells.

    SLOW dancing :)

I remember shortly after I joined the board, another turtle (or tortoise) breeding member posted something about her turtles (or tortoises). It was the first time I noticed that the ad's matched the subject. The turtle ad's are back with this thread!!

    BTW - love your turtles.
