Yes it is sad that some folks do not understand what goes into sewing and quilting a quilt. Until you have tried it you do not know. Hey if she decides she does not want the quilt pass it my way. It is great!!

I'm not making excuses for her but it may be that she is so overwhelmed with a new baby that she hasn't taken the time to respond. She might have post-partum depression. Perhaps she just forgot... Perhaps... you get the idea. I'm just saying that there may be a lot of reasons she didn't thank you for your BEAUTIFUL work! It's lovely. Keep quilting and continue sending the pictures of your work so that you can delight us!

No one seems to say thankyou anymore. So I try to say thank you all the time. Make sure people are impressed with your quilts first before giving them away. I always say "if its not your style I'll be glad to take it back"

I am appalled that she did not respond...I'm not sure manners are even taught anymore. Your quilt is lovely.

The same thing happened to me when I sent my neice a quilt. I finally had to call her to see if she got it. She had but never thought to call to tell me or to say a simple thank-you. It makes you feel awful so I feel for you. Your quilts are beautiful and don't let her get you down. Keep up the good work.

It is darling and I know the baby will love it and don't understand why she didn't jump with joy thanking you!
