I love the bright colors you used in your gift. She looks like she loved it, and tell the mother to keep it for the baby, and give it to her when she is grown. I mean for her to use it for the baby, and then keep it for he baby, when it is grown. If it is a girl, she will really love it. Oh, and keep the pictures for her too. I made my daughter a rabbit quilt, and took a picture of it, and the quilt got lost when we moved. (So sad.)

Look at the smile on the Mommy's face. That says it all about the quilt. Great!

Thank you all for the sweet words! I also put a little tag on the back with a bible verse and the information for Allie when she gets older. I think she'll probably keep it. She is mu DH cousin and one of my best friends. She is a pack rat when it comes to her children's sentimental things too! Allie Mae will be her 2nd. Just 3 weeks and she will FINALLY be here!

You did a great job. I love the simplicity of the quilt and the colorful blocks. The baby will hug it for many, many years.

The look on Mom's face says it all - it's a winner!
