This is my first quilt using EQ6. I needed it to be fast - for me, so I used large pieces. It was nice to complete something in just a few weeks. I know that alot of you would have it done in an evening or two, but I seem to work very slowly.

It's absolutely lovely, and please remember, there are no quilt police here on the board, and no timekeepers either!

Very cute, and I love the quilting! I am slow, also, although I can be fast when I have a deadline.

suzic46 - The software is awesome - there is so much to it - I scanned my own fabrics, so I was able to choose among my fabric collection which ones I actually wanted to use. I choose to piece using foundation/paper piecing - so I went to that section of the software and just kept playing around with squares and fabrics until I settled on one that I liked.

They say slow and steady wins the race. It's a beautiful quilt and worth the wait. I love my EQ6 too.

The large pieces give the lovely fabrics a chance to show off. Beautiful work!

Those colors are awesome. I love your quilt. I work slow too so join the club. I figure I quilt for enjoyment so there is no need to hurry.

Thanks for the nice comments - I tried to choose colors that were not just "baby" appropriate.

sewaholic - thanks - if you have EQ6 I used the flyinggoose variation on the corners and twelve triangles square elsewhere - 9 squares in all. I do not know how transfer the pattern to the web - I have limited patience with directions.
