That's adorable. I love quilts with star blocks. Last baby quilt with stars I quilted diagonally thru the stars from point to point and in the ditch around the blocks. It seemed to make the star look like a more complex block. Then maybe just meander thru the other blocks?

It's great. I love the way you made the border to match the stars in the middle.

I really love it!! I want to learn prairie points and do them on my next baby quilt. I think they always add a bit of a wow factor!!

They are not hard to do - plus I like the idea to have something that has texture for the baby,

It is a PB Textile fabric group. There were 8preprinted squares in a panel and a variety of fabrics. Makes the coordination very easy

It is really cute! I think the suggestion of SID around each block and diagonal stitching in all the star blocks is a good idea. On the other blocks, I would stitch around each of the main characters, machine or hand quilt. It would be a little time consuming and a bit of fussy work, but would sure make the characters stand out even more. On the border, you could "echo" the prairie points 2 or 3 (or more?) times.
