Default Baby quilt using friendship stars in primary colors.

DH asked me to make a quilt for his boss who is expecting a baby boy soon. He asked that I make something bold and in Steeler colors. I used their football helmet for inspiration. Hopefully this fits the bill.
It's been sitting around while I worked on other things, since October, so this also counts as my first UFO finish for 2012.

It's my own design, so there is no pattern to share.

Great quilt. Baby better be a serious Steeler fan.

What a striking little quilt! It will be great for a little boy of any age.

lol, the Daddy is sure is, but I wanted to appeal to the Mom as well, so I'm hoping she sees past the football aspect and enjoys the stars. I don't think baby is going to care ;-)

That is really a cheery looking quilt. Thanks for sharing. Baby will love it, & I am sure Mom & Dad will, too.

I want to congratulate you on making a football themed quilt that isn't over the top. I'm not one to follow sports teams but I would still be delighted to have a little quilt like this one for a child of mine. I think you are right on the money about appealling to the mom with the stars and to the dad with the colors and inspiration. Fabulous!!
