Very nice and I am sure no one will mind, especially with all the work you put into them!

Fantastic - pat yourself on the back and say, ''I did a great job!''

What is the name of the first pattern?

If the first has a pattern name I do not know it. It is a log cabin variation though. I pieced log cabin blocks and then cut full blocks to the same size from two coordinating fabrics (I used the same fabrics as the centers of my log cabin blocks). All of the blocks are then cut diagonally and 1/2 of a log cabin block is sewn to 1/2 of a full fabric block (clear as mud, right). The placement is just what I came up with on the design wall. I like to do offset patterns for people that prefer a more contemporary look (younger people :-))

I very seldom work from an actual pattern :-)

Pretty. I'm there with you. I still need to quilt the baby quilt I made for my co-worker. Baby Mac will be 7 weeks soon...
