What thoughtful works of art. I'm sure she and they, eventually, will love them, too.

How sweet you are. The quilts are so sweet themselves.

What did you use for yardage?
I am drawing a blank for a pattern for a baby quilt, this could be a option for me

Hi Jo Anne!
It took over a yard of color fabric and 1 1/2 yards of white.
I cut the colors from my scraps. (Didn't make nearly the dent I wanted it to, but does scrapbusting ever?)
The colored rails are cut at 2 1/2 x 4 1/2.
The white rails are cut at 1 1/2 x 4 1/2.
The blocks finished at 4" and were arranged 11 across by 13 down.
I can pm you a link to the pattern. My posts always get removed when I link somewhere....

What a clever pair of quilts! There will be some good nights sleep going on under those 2 quilts.
