I love this quilt, and the kitty is just the right touch. Great work.

This would a great quilt for an 8 yr to work on and yet there is still so much one could with it. It was one of the easiest and quickest ones I have made.

I'm glad you finally did one for yourself!!!!!We all need our own quilt!!! I love it because it's so very colorful!!!! Was it hard to piece with the uneven strips?

Ir is absolutely wonderful. But what I thought when I first saw it before I read your notes, it reminded me of how elementary kids stack their library books. Your fat cat really adds the extra touch.

NO it was not hard at all. I just pieced a 22"-ish piece of white and a 22"-ish piece of color into a big circle and than randomly cut it somewhere in the white which created one long strip. After I had all my strips cut out, I sewed them together and squared it off before putting the borders on. Was actually the quickest and probably most simple quilt I have ever done.

Thank you for the compliments. Jenga and stacked books are two of the things I thought it looked like but for some reason I just keep calling it "My Stripes" so that is what I will probably put on the label.
