If you do three strips: 1-blue floral 2-yellow 3-blue floral in that order.
You should consider the surplus at the edges, so you should use 1 1-27-27 2-10 and 3-27, with that completed the 64 x 64 I was talking about.
I hope you understand (I use a translator to communicate).

i'd put the gold on the back. second choice would be the patterned fabric.

Your quilt looks very nice. I can't help you with the backing I'm not good enough for that still learning. Can't wait to see what you decide. Sue

I love the way this turned out... beautiful! I'm not the one to ask about backing fabric... I always use muslin (well, 99% of the time) & that's too boring for most people. Do you have scraps left over that you could throw into the back?

Just make sure that the backing isn't so dark that it shows through the batting and the white part of the front. I can't wait to see the finished quilt.
