You've done a really nice job of both.
And what a nice gift for your Mom instead of the card.
Hope you put a label/card on the back!

Re the bag ... I just found printed off the pattern this afternoon for the same bag. Does it go together easy enough? Or any trickery to it?

Hope you will share your experience!
    Please? and Thanks!

Love the card--wonderful job of piecing! Bag's nice looking-- I'm not a bag lady though. They slip off my shoulders all the time

Bag goes together without problems. I added a couple of inner pockets and lengthened the straps somewhat. Oh, and I didn't put any interfacing in the bow ends as I wanted them to droop a bit.

    Have fun sewing this.

Excellent substitute for a card! Cards are so expensive now anyway, and your tiny quilt is much morelovely, endearing, and enduring.

Beautiful! I saved this pattern ages ago (for the tulip) and never got round to it. Now I've seen yours, perhaps I should! Here's a link to the pattern http://thimble-art.com/patterns/tiny-tulip :-D
