Fabulous- I often admire tiled floors and think they would make great quilts- art deco stained glass windows too. This one certainly does!
Another cool thing about the Ballyseede floor link is that I am pretty sure the "seede" in this place comes from the Irish gaelic word "Síoda", meaning silk, and I find that little textile link intriguing and charming!
Could you post a close up of the block? I am intrigued how it appears to be curved but I am pretty sure it does not contain any curved pieces- nice optical illusion.
