Your quilt is absolutely beautiful. I am way to intimadated to even try one, but like the kalidiscope I think they are beautiful. The colors you used are awesome.

Hi, Barb. I followed your tute for a bargello quilt. I'm generally not a big fan of bargellos, but I love your layout. My son and his girlfriend are getting married in April of next year and I would like to make a quilt for them as a wedding present. I have chosen some fabrics, but would like your advice regarding my choices and the order in which to place them.

Please let me know if you would look for replacements for any of the fabrics I have chosen and if you would rearrange them. I am still new to quilting and chosing fabrics is my biggest weakness.

Hi, I this fabrics would work just fine. I would recommend switching fabric #11 with #9...that way you wouldn't have all the very darkestgreen and blue next to each other and the light blue will back to the dark print #1. And, I think the gold would look good over by the butterfly print.

Want to try that and get another picture and see what that looks like?
