Thread: Bargello

    Here are the first two rows of my bargello. I hope that curve in the middle is because I didn't hang it up straight. I love the look of bargellos and this is my first one, but I am REALLY not liking all the seams. I was really nervous reading the directions(read it for months before I got up the nerve to start). Undo seams between blocks 7 and 8, make sure to follow the diagram, cut 6 strips from the gold set, and 2 from the purple. All that turned out to be a lot easier then I thought it would be. The seams matching up is what 's going to do me in.

    looks great so far! I know how all those seams can get to you.....I have 48 seams to match up in each strip for the bargello I am working on. I think the most important tip I can give you for that is to be very careful that you get a 1/4" seam every time....it makes them all match up much easier.
