Bargello WH -- borders or not??

I finished the basic center of my wavy bargello WH. I am undecided about borders. None -- or add some. Right now it measures about 40" square. The first pix is in the upright position. I also took a sideways pix that I think I like better.
Opinions, please
Mim
It is from the Twist and Turn Bargello book

Pretty quilt! I think it needs a border ... nothing elaborate. I think a dark blue 1" border would frame it nice and then a wider border with one of your light-colored blue fabrics, like maybe 4" wide? You did a wonderful job!

This would be my choice for borders as well.Originally Posted by quilter1430

That was my thought exactly. Such a beautiful quilt. Great job. I agree with a small dark border, to stop the eye, and then a wider light border to give you more size.Originally Posted by LisaGibbs
