That's pretty. I just saw this pattern in one of my quilting magazines done in the batiks. Looks very nice in real life!!

I'm sure she well deserves this beautiful quilt....I'm a teacher, too, and know how much an aide can save the day. You did a great job with those beautiful colors. Batiks never fail, right?

An aide can make all the difference - so this year we're asked to do "More with less". Right. My husband just retired so I'm having him come in with my guitar class - meets before school and has 68 fifth graders in it. There's also a parent volunteer in there. I'm so used to my aide doing things on auto-pilot - have to remember to tell these great helpers what they need to do to help!

this is the same pattern that I saw on missiour video using hunny bun. Nice job

Edited, yes I remember now Missiour Quilts video called it the keyhole....

Awesome quilt! I love the bright colors, and the clean, simple lines. I also love the kindness you are showing on your friend. Love hearing little uplifting stories like that! :)
