Very Nice Quilt top! I like the colors you chose and the placement of the colors!

That is so pretty. Curious as to why you wouldn't make another one. I want to do one but that is a lot of little squares.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone -- I really appreciate it!

Why not do another? I think it's all the planning that made this one take so long.

Find the right colors... make sure the size of the braids are what I want... once the braids are done, how much room do I have left for the separators... should I piece the separators too... black or white borders...

There are just TOO many options and I know I overthought everything.

The pattern itself is quite easy to do. Don't let that put you off.

I was being really picky and questioned EVERYTHING... to the point where I would put the fabric up on the wall to see what I wanted for the color runs, once put together, put them back on the wall and stare at for three days picking out the separator band fabric...

It's a fun pattern once you get started. I hit the "analysis paralysis" stage too many times to want to do this one again. There are many more patterns that I want to try. I can't wait to see how I approach the Bali Wedding Star one... LOL!

I love braids and adore batiks, so this is way up on my favorites list!
