I didn't have a pattern, I just cut a bunch of strips 2.5 inches wide, then sub-cut the strips into 2.5 x 2.5 squares and 2.5 by 6.5 inch strips. Each block is 6.5 x 6.5 before sewing together. You need two squares and two strips of one color and one square of another color for each block. I really don't know how much fabric I used because I have this awesome stash of batiks. I was on a roll, so i just kept cutting. I have enough blocks left over to make another quilt a little smaller than this one.

Didn't use a jelly roll. I cut strips from my own stash.

I am bookmarking this one. I love your colors. That is really what makes this quilt so appealing to me. I need to learn more about how to place colors together. Of course, I making my first quilt now, so naturely I have a lot to learn about everything. Thanks so much for sharing yours.
