I guess you can either take the smaller ones apart and resew them (my choice if it was me) or you can try to find a sashing. It doesn't look like you can cut the larger ones down. Good luck, let us know how it turns out. I love the design and fabric.

Ok - you got me on that one. 1/4" is 1/4"... But the person (me) who set the settings didn't do a good job making sure it was a "true" measurement. On my machine, there is a 1/4" setting, but on my daughter's machine, I had to use a ruler and keep moving the dial to get to 1/4" -- but must have not set it accurately.

have you decided on how you want/should fix this yet?

A=first you have to understand nothing is perfect
B=take a deep breath
C=separate blocks into either 2 small OR 2 large
D=make a decision on the best way to proceed to YOUR satisfaction
E=there are multiple ways to fix this & most of them will involve a little extra work, but definitely FIX it!
F=if you have accepted this, sew SLOWLY with a 6/per inch stitch or be happy getting to know your seam ripper!!!!

Could you use all or some of the larger blocks in one quilt with a different layout and borders then use the smaller blocks to make another quilt. Two quilts instead of one?

Try redoing ONE on you machine if it works, great...
Do you have enough scrap of the floral to frame the nine?...This will not be noticed in the final product. Also scatter the framed block through out the layout and they won't be as "visible". The other thing is when you get this quilted the framing will only be noticeable if you get really close and look for it...
